I was told that I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven.
I got the idea from Steve Camp, but here are my 10 favorite living Bible preachers/teachers.
- R.C. Sproul, Sr.
- John D. Hannah (DTS)
- John Piper
- Tom Ascol (Founders Ministries)
- Tommy Nelson (Denton Bible)
- Al Mohler (Southern Seminary)
- John F. MacArthur, Jr. (affectionately known as Johnny Mac)
- Alistair Begg
- Mark Dever
- Voddie Baucham

7. Also affectionately known as J-Mac, as a young man at our church who's a former member of his church calls him.
I especially like to listen to John Piper, Alistair Begg, Sinclair Ferguson, C.J. Mahaney, and my pastor.
Alright! The Presbyterians are still holding onto the number one slot! :-)
I like the ones you mentioned in addition to Matt Chandler, CJ Mahaney, and Josh Harris.
My list would definitely include CJ Mahaney... but i really like your list. 8)
I think Voddie Baucham is number 1 on my list to listen to. Then Piper, then Sproul.
As far as teaching Sproul is number 1 on my list as well. With Piper in at number 2 (I call him Johnny P.)
1. Doug Helms
2. Conrad Mbewe
3. John Piper
4. R. C. Sproul
5. Tom Ascol
6. John MacArthur
7. Michael Horton
8. Alistair Begg
9. Mark Dever
10. C. J. Mahaney
I'm picking up a C.M. Mahaney theme. I've actually only heard Mahaney a few times and always live. But, I have very much enjoyed what I've heard from him. Oh, and his book on humility is very good also, in my humble opinion.
;-)
R.C. Sproul, John MacArthur, John Cannon, Chip Ingram, Charles Stanley, Ed Young, Ed Young Jr.
I really need to give Piper another listening to. I need to bookmark this so I can comeback to these list and learn from the big boys.
Wow! No Timothy Keller anywhere on the list?
I am in the process of reading that book on humility. Funny you mentioned it.
