Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!

All this talk about Brett Favre and his potential un-retirement brings to mind my favorite Favre game of all time, the 1995 NFC Championship game ... in Dallas.

Enjoy these highlights as you see some guys I wish could come out of retirement.

That was good stuff Gun. Thanks!

I think we're going to get to the big show this year.

That was a good reminder of how good that team really was. Only a few missteps by Switzer the year before, and they would have been going for their fourth championship in a row. They were excellent.

Godfather III

Speaking of three, I enjoyed those three Super Bowls very much. The third which followed this game was quite special to me as we watched it at the hospital after my niece Hayley was born.

Haters can say what they will about Aikman and Irvin, but I always appreciated that their careers ended on the field by going down in battle. That is a fitting end for a champion.

I hope Favre considers this and comes back - I would like the Cowboys to have another opportunity to beat up on him some more. That is how his career should end - in battle - knocked out of the NFC championship game in Dallas in another Packer losing effort to the Cowboys. (Because I like Favre, not too hard of an injury like a head or neck injury or the sweet Theisman leg break, but hard enough to clearly end his career, e.g. broken throwing arm shoulder or wrist)

I cannot believe how close I was to your hometown this past week! I was visiting the in-laws up in Fairview, and with the Sister-in-law and family over in Plano! Wow...

I have no idea what I think about Favre. I think he needs to just let it go... it seems like everyone will remember in him in Green and yellow no matter what anyway...

That certainly would have been good bull to have been able to get together!

Next time you're in the neighborhood, let's try to make it happen, brother.

Great fun!

I hope Favre plays for the Vikes this fall. Bad mojo for the Pack if he does. ;)
