a man that doesn't spend time with his family, can never be a real man.

In honor of Father's Day and as an overflow of my research for my sermon on Proverbs 22:6, the following are some interesting quotes regarding that adventure known as "Parenting" ...

A bunch of wonderful quotes related to fatherhood/parenting. But, the one that most caught my attention is this one:

"Most American children suffer too much mother and too little father."
- Gloria Steinem

Gloria Steinem, whose life has stood for "equal rights" for women, etc. Could it be that Ms. Steinem has been such a staunch feminist because she "suffered too little father"?

Yeah, I too found that one particularly interesting and very telling.

Something tells me there might have been some significant absentee father issues in her home, to which she responded with efforts to show that a father wasn't really a necessary commodity in a family.
